Berlin Con 2026

Berlin Con 2026 once again demonstrated why it ranks among Germany’s largest and most popular board game events. Over 19,800 visitors gathered to discover new games and share their passion for the hobby.
More than 100 exhibitors showed their latest releases, with a total of 136 new titles available to discover. The flea market also set a new record: with over 10,400 games on offer, it was larger than ever before.
Another highlight was the two Game Nights, wich accomodated 2700 visitors each this year, once agein bringing together numerous board game fans for a shared evening of gaming.
On stage, the traditional pub quiz hosted by Flo from Get on Board once again provided great entertainment. For the first time, a live session of Blood on the Clocktower was also presented, delighting a large audience.
Two awards were also presented at Berlin Con. The prize for Best Prototype went to Overlord, a trick-taking game by Patrick Piel and Mandy Dörre. The Goldene Tatze (Golden Paw)—Berlin Con’s award for new releases—was presented to the dexterity game Yubibo, created by the Japanese design team MAGNET.
The Gaming Library
Naturally, we were back again this year with our game library. For many visitors, it serves as a central meeting point at Berlin Con. With nearly 2,400 titles, our library offered a huge selection to suit every taste. Over the course of the event, we recorded more than 8,400 loans.
The most popular games by number of loans were:
Morty Sorty Magic Shop
Rebirth
Moon Colony Bloodbath
However, in terms of total time spent playing, the top spot went to Rebirth by Reiner Knizia—which was named Kennerspiel des Jahres 2026 on Sunday.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, played a game, and used our library!
Our goal is to bring people together and give them the chance to discover new games. We are therefore especially delighted that so many of you made use of our library.
A very special thank you goes to the Berlin Con volunteer team, who provided us with tremendous support, even during peak times. You guys rocked the lending desk with us! Thanks a million!
We’re already looking forward to Berlin Con 2027!
